Analyst Agim Baçi has stated that there is coordination between Sali Berisha and Rama against SPAK and the new justice institutions.
Baçi said that the language used by both of them is to attack the Special Prosecutor's Office which, according to him, is acting both on the right and on the left, putting behind bars politicians and high officials accused of corruption.
Baçi added that the majority's plans are to minimize the role of SPAK, which until the next elections in 2025 can investigate or arrest other political figures.
"There is a concern with this arrogance, there are some problems with the language. Albanians know what "Noc Rroku" means and the idea that the prime minister uses so naturally and freely has problems. Secondly, stating that it was not the Americans but the SP that brought justice, raises the ball to the opposition to increase the accusations that justice is commanded by Mr. Rama and has become so to punish political opponents. Without the SPAK today or used by Rama, we would not have close friends of Mr. Rama or his collaborators, neither Dako, nor Beqaj, nor Tahir behind the prison doors.
SPAK's investigations have put the government in great difficulty for fear that it may lose its collaborators, it has turned to the point that it is already threatening, saying that I created you and I can destroy you. This corresponds to the Xhafaj commission which said that we can change the Constitution to make the justice reform better. And it seems as if it goes along with Berisha's request saying that the justice reform should be redone and he called on the internationals not to support SPAK anymore because it has failed. There is a coordination against SPAK to curb and minimize it. We are heading towards the elections and every strike, every investigation, every arrest that SPAK can make among the majority can have an impact on the elections", he said to "News 24".
