Activist Migen Qiraxhi has described the police response to protesters in the protest organized on Saturday afternoon in Tirana, where a series of incidents and clashes were recorded, as an excessive reaction.

From the studio of the "Terminal" show on A2CNN, Qiraxhi stated that the State Police did not manage the situation well at today's Democratic Party protest.

"I think it was not a situation well managed by the State Police. Clearly some of their actions were beyond proportionality," said Qiraxhi.

Regarding the protest itself, the activist said that "what worries me is that the Democratic Party seems to have lost its time machine. They even expect different results from the same actions. It is difficult to identify the political strategy of this force when you see this type of behavior."

According to him, "even the language of communication is the same" and will hardly produce results.
