Oil price increase, Malaj shows the measures the government should take

Former Minister of Finance Arben Malaj, unveiled his proposals on the measures the government should take to cope with the price crisis resulting from the increase in oil prices. He emphasized that the government and the Ministry of Finance should make a complete inventory of the security reserve, to avoid abuses.

"We are in a critical situation and have been greatly affected by the price increase. There are 4 groups that need immediate support. They are the needy, pensioners, those who receive social assistance and agriculture. So far, we are the only European country that has not introduced a social package. Control structures create premises for corruption rather than helping citizens. I suggest that the government and the Ministry of Finance should make a complete inventory of the security reserve. We have a law on the reserve, but there have been cases where it is sold and companies receive abusive profits, selling it informally. The government has not done any verification ," Malaj said in a direct link to the studio of "Ditar" in the afternoon, on A2CNN.

He further added that neighboring countries each have their own model, while our country has no plan. He also added that in a time of energy crisis, the government has blocked skateboards, further burdening the pockets of citizens.

"Second, the Greek government decides to tax the abusive profit and go to the budget and be used in the form of social solidarity. Greece has its model, Croatia its own... The government has blocked skateboards for example and we are at the height of a crisis with the price of oil. People could go to work with these means. Oil crises are repeated and we must have measures ready and not wait to see if the price will decrease or not. It is an economic conflict, not a military one. At its center is China and there are many intertwining factors in this war. Even today, for that war to end, which I say will last, it will take a month for prices to decrease again," Malaj added.
