The Minister of Infrastructure of Kosovo, Liburn Aliu, has announced that a bilateral agreement has been reached on the route through which the railway connecting Kosovo with Albania will pass.
On his Facebook account, Ali has published images of what this project will look like.
"The Pristina-Durres railway, a very important project, which is progressing more and more every day, and after the feasibility study process has begun, intensive work will begin for the realization of one of the largest infrastructure projects for the nation ", the minister wrote.
The railway that will connect Albania with Kosovo is expected to pass partially on the track where the Vorë-Hani i Hoti railway will be built.
The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, announced that the Albania-Kosovo railway will pass from Shkodra, Gjakova and finally to Pristina.
According to him, this is a solution much desired by the Kosovo side.
"We also communicated with Kosovo about the progress of the Durrës-Prishtina railway project. There will be a change of the line passing from Shkodra to Gjakovë and to Pristina and this is a very desired solution from the side of Kosovo", said Rama.
