"Albanians do not trust the government", Kikia: SPAK dared to put

Analyst Mentor Kikia said that SPAK has won the trust of the citizens, after the courage to put in prison people who were previously not even thought to be affected.

In an interview for "Euronews Albania", he stated that the citizens see SPAK as a hook on which they can hang their hope.

Kikia also said that there is a dramatic change in the most reliable institutions of the Albanians, since according to him, even the media that were once in charge, today have lost their trust.

"The perception of the public in relation to SPAK is a separate story, while the credibility of citizens in relation to local or foreign institutions is a separate story. The fact that Albanians list the US Embassy first as the most reliable institution is undoubtedly unprecedented, but it is not new.

If you talk to the embassy officials, you will learn that more citizens' files related to the problems they have, are addressed to the Embassy, rather than to the institutions in Albania. The issue of SPAK is a separate story, because in the end, if we remove the embassies, SPAK is the most reliable institution in Albania.

And this happens because Albanians want to have a hook on which to hang their hope. Since they do not believe in the parliament, in the government, a dramatic reversal even from the hacking of the media. We were first before. "SPAK was the institution that, with its birth or international support, with the start, with the courage to put in prison people who until yesterday were not even thought to be affected, increased the hope of Albanians and their credibility", said Kikia.
