In the protected area of the Ballolli Reserve, the flames have reached the size of the forest area. A fire brigade from Poliçan, a fire brigade from Dimali and 6 employees of the Berat Protected Areas , as well as 30 members of the Armed Forces, have gone to the scene.
According to local authorities, the situation is considered serious. Meanwhile, in the residential areas of Poliçan, the situation is calm and is being monitored.
The situation is also problematic in the village of Velçan in Berat, where the fire has reached the size of a bushland. It is learned that 20 firefighting forces, 3 firefighting vehicles from Berat, and 25 forces from the Municipality are operating.
In Skrapar , the hearth of the fire in Orizaj, it is developing with low intensity in a bushy area. At the scene are 6 firefighters and 2 fire engines from Skrapar, 5 volunteer forces from the village, 5 forces from the municipality's forestry service.
The situation is calm in the Dimal and Kuçovë municipalities . In the Dibër district , two fires are active, one in Tërnovo near Liqen i Zi and the other in Val i Martanesh. The flames so far do not pose a danger to residents as they are far from the villages.
The spread of the fire is extensive and several hectares of forest have been damaged. Meanwhile, firefighting forces are on the ground, working to extinguish the flames.
As of this morning, only one fire has been reported in the Kukës region , which is located in the Maja e Zezë forest area, in the village of Shëmri, Malzi Administrative Unit.
The fire has been completely isolated and is being monitored by municipal structures to ensure its complete extinguishing.
