The Traffic Police of Tirana has made the weekly bilnac for the period from May 26 to June 1.
During the last week, strict measures have been implemented to maintain order and road safety:
18 Arrests and criminal proceedings:
• 6 people for driving under the influence of alcohol.
• 2 people for driving without a license.
• 7 people for violating traffic rules.
• 2 people were prosecuted for active corruption.
• 1 person for driving under the influence of narcotics
Administrative measures:
• 12,742 administrative measures imposed, an average of 1,813 per day.
• 68 measures for black glasses.
• 681 measures for speeding over the permitted rates.
• 410 measures for mobile phone use while driving.
• 713 measures for not wearing a seat belt.
• 58 measures for disobeying the "Stop" signal.
• 8,732 measures for wrong posture.
Suspensions and blockages:
• 9 cases of suspension for driving under the influence of alcohol.
• 45 cases of speeding.
• 3 different cases
• 4 vehicles were blocked, including 1 with foreign license plates.
