After the Constitutional Court's decision to remove him from office, the first order came from Mayor Erion Veliaj.
He has ordered the capital to immediately begin preparations for the end-of-year holidays.
According to his order, the Decoration and Events Company will take measures to place festive lighting and decorations in squares, streets and public spaces, respecting the highest safety standards, as well as the technical and aesthetic criteria set for this purpose.
The document also states that, in implementation of decision no. 420, dated 08.06.2006 of the Council of Ministers “On the approval of the state ceremonial of the Republic of Albania”, measures should be taken to decorate the buildings of ministries according to the requests of the relevant institutions.
