The event reported by the media a few days ago, where a scaffolding element slipped from the upper floors of a building under construction in Tirana, has taken another turn.
After verifications by the law enforcement bodies, it was found that the event was an accident caused by the subcontractor of the company "Arlis Construction", while no violation of safety conditions was found.
After escorting the subcontractor, his worker and the company's engineer to the police, as well as inspections at the construction site, it was possible to fully clarify this accident.
It is learned that the event was the result of an accident during the works, but the law-enforcement authorities have established that the construction site met all the technical and legal conditions according to construction laws, laws on health and safety at work.
This accident caused minor injuries to two bystanders.
Both passers-by are said to be in very good health and have been out of the hospital for several days.
It is learned from sources near the Trauma Hospital that the "Arlis Construction" company has covered all hospital expenses for the two lightly injured and has expressed its regret for the situation caused at the time of the accident.
