At the government meeting on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, with Decision no. 39, 2167 employees have been added to the offices of state institutions, starting from the Presidency, the Assembly, the Prime Minister's Office, ministries, some central directorates and justice institutions.
In the government's decision, it is said that the increase of employees is necessary to cope with the load of administrative work and other services, which is impressive, the addition of 44 employees in the rest residences of the Ministry of the Interior in Durrës.
Here is the number of employees added, according to state institutions:
1. Presidency: 10 employees.
2. Assembly: 13 employees.
3. Prime Ministry: 79 employees.
4. Ministry of Agriculture: 282 employees.
4. Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy 95 employees.
5. Ministry of Finance: 621 employees.
6. Ministry of Education and Sports: 71 employees.
7. Ministry of Economy-Culture-Innovation: 158 employees.
8. Ministry of Health: 358 employees.
9. Ministry of Justice: 47 employees.
10. Ministry of Foreign Affairs: 20 employees.
11. Ministry of the Interior: 60 employees.
12. Ministry of Defense: 10 employees.
13. State Information Service: 17 employees.
14. General Directorate of Archives: 20 employees.
15. Ministry of Tourism-Environment: 93 employees.
16. General Prosecutor's Office: 40 employees.
17. Supreme Judicial Council: 40 employees.
18. High Prosecution Council: 3 employees.
19. SPAK: 4 employees.
20. Constitutional Court: 2 employees.
21. Independent Qualification Commission: 9 employees.
22. Special Appeal Panel: 7 employees
23. High Inspectorate of Justice: 7 employees.
24. People's Advocate: 10 employees.
25. Commissioner for Civil Service: 6 employees.
26. Commissioner for the Right to Information: 6 employees.
27. Public Procurement Commission: 4 employees.
28. Authority of Ex-Insurance files: 14 employees.
29: Albanian Telegraphic Agency 10 employees/
30. Other government institutions: 43 employees.
