When Prime Minister Edi Rama removed Blendi Gonxhe from the Ministry of Economy, it was thought that he did it to create the public image that he was cutting off the sources and spaces of theft, which would now be "discovered" by the virtual minister "Diella".
But in fact, knowing that Blendi Gonxhe is a master of bargaining and financial combinations, Rama sent him to another "barn" of corruption, to an institution where millions of euros are stolen daily through fabricated tenders and auctions for fictitious projects that are given to oligarchs and drug traffickers turned businessmen.
In addition to the post as Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sports, the Prime Minister has appointed Blendi Gonxhe as a member of the Steering Council of the Albanian Development Fund (ADF), one of the agencies with the largest public funds in the country, which since May 2019 has been led by Dritan Agolli, another old "wolf" of corruption.
Gonxha's appointment to this structure was made by government decision no. 550, dated October 1, 2025, proposed by the prime minister himself, who has thus "armored" this "barn" of thefts with two of his most loyal and proven people in abuses since the time he headed the Municipality of Tirana.
According to information provided by “Pamfleti”, Rama has ordered that Blendi Gonxhe be elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Albanian Development Fund, while Dritan Agolli will continue as Executive Director.
This means that Gonxhe and the other members of the board will approve tenders and the allocation of funds according to lists and bargains dictated by the prime minister, while Agolli will implement processes with fictitious “competitions” and predetermined winners.
Both of these leaders, Blendi Gonxhe and Dritan Agolli, have criminal records at SPAK for corruption and abuse of public funds, but this has never been an obstacle for Edi Rama to promote them again to positions where millions of euros circulate every day./ Pamphlet
