Behind "Vlora Sport" lies a giant project of towers and resorts...
In the scheme to plunder state lands along the Vlora coast, through donation deeds and clientelistic government decisions, Prime Minister Edi Rama has also included his well-known realtor, Sinan Idrizi, who is internationally wanted for fraud and trafficking.
It concerns an area of 30 hectares in the area called "Soda Forest" in Vlora, by the sea, near the Old Beach and bordering the village of Zvërnec, a strategic territory that the construction mafia has earmarked for resorts, hotels, villas and palaces.
Although there is no government decision for donation or use, Sinan Idrizi is treating this land as his property, advertising it as the “Vlora Sport” project. On behalf of this private complex, he is holding meetings with foreign companies for loans and business partnerships.
Reliable sources claim that this activity is taking place with the direct support of Prime Minister Edi Rama, who has not only tolerated this false "ownership", but has accompanied Idrizi to meetings abroad, which have been presented as official meetings of Albanian state delegations.
On July 26, 2025, Sinan Idrizi, accompanied by businessman Albert Deliaj from Vlora, owner of "6+1" television, and an official from the Prime Minister's Office, traveled to Alicante, Spain, and then to Rome, on the "Ismaili" charter plane used by Edi Rama.
In both cities, Idrizi was introduced as an official representative of the Albanian government and held meetings with architectural studios for the "Vlora Sport" project, presented as a public government project.
In reality, this sports complex, not yet approved by the government, is a private venture by Sinan Idrizi, built on 30 hectares of state-owned land in the Soda Forest, by the sea on the Old Beach of Vlora.
On September 4, 2025, for the same project, Edi Rama and Sinan Idrizi traveled together to Madrid, where they attended the Real Madrid–Villarreal match at the “Santiago Bernabeu”. In addition to meeting with Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez, they secured a 20 million euro loan for “Vlora Sport” from Spanish investor groups.
Sources within the government claim that Rama is personally engaged in this project and that it is actually a construction business much larger than the envisaged sports complex, a project that includes luxury villas, hotels and tourist resorts.
The plan foresees that the land of Pyllit i Sodës will be donated in the name of the "Flamurtari" club, which will then be sold to Sinan Idrizi for a symbolic value.
All agreements are ready, while only the signing of the government decision by Edi Rama is expected, which will give Idrizi 30 hectares of land by the sea and the construction permit. /Pamphlet
