On February 24, 2025, the owner of the company "Bana King", Trifon Murataj, was declared wanted for the criminal offense of "Violation of occupational safety regulations", because on February 18, at the Port of Durres, an AG worker of this company lost an eye due to lack of safety and conditions.
The police kept the incident secret, and after the media published it, they were forced to make it public and took action in cooperation with the prosecutor's office and declared Trifon of "Bana King" wanted, but he had been notified before the criminal proceedings to hide or flee the country.
This is the fifth time in the last four years that the owner of "Bana King", Trifon Murataj, has been wanted, 4 times for cocaine trafficking, but surprisingly, he has not been arrested in any case, because he is notified in advance by the police or justice chiefs and flees Albania, or remains hidden within the country until his arrest is lifted.
For the first time, Trifon Murataj was declared wanted on December 31, 2021, when 119 kg of cocaine were seized in the containers of "Bana King", but he was not arrested, although he ate and drank with police chiefs and prosecutors in luxurious restaurants in Tirana, until his name was removed from the criminal file.
For the second time, Trifon Murataj was declared wanted on July 17, 2022, because 50 crates of approximately 1.5 tons of cocaine disappeared from the "Bana King" container; but he hid before his arrest and ate and drank with police chiefs and prosecutors in Tirana restaurants, until his name was removed from the file.
For the third time, Trifon Murataj was declared wanted on November 4, 2022, because 35.5 kg. of cocaine were seized in the "Bana King" container at the Port of Durrës; but before his arrest, he secretly went with police chiefs and prosecutors to luxurious restaurants in Tirana and slept at the Bashkim Ulaj tower.
For the fourth time, Trifon Murataj was declared wanted on December 8, 2023, because he was allowed to leave the Port of Durres without control and was taken to a parking lot in Shkozet, the "Bana-King" container with 1 ton of cocaine and returned empty to the port, while he hid until his name was deleted from the file.
On December 8, 2024, after 2 years of being wanted for 35.5 kg of cocaine seized in a banana container, the Durrës prosecution and court lifted the arrest warrant for trafficker Trifon Murataj and placed him on "Required Appearance".
Even after fleeing while being wanted, on May 29, 2024, Trifon Murataj brought 55 bags of cocaine into the "Bana King" container at the Port of Durres in 13 banana crates detected by scanning, but the police did not proceed.
On February 24, 2025, he was declared wanted for the fifth time, for violating occupational safety regulations, because his worker injured his eye, but he was again notified before being arrested.
