After the "diversion" against Ilir Meta and the agreement with Mitsotakis, the former LSI minister is signing 20 million new lek for a summer ceremony where even the applause is paid for with public money...
When Vangjel Tavo was Minister of Health and an LSI MP, he fabricated tenders and signed financial lobbies on behalf of the Meta-Kryemadhi family, affairs for which SPAK is investigating.
Since October 2024, as Mayor of Himara, Vangjel Tavo has been creating and signing tenders for himself and concession contracts for land, plots, beaches, and construction permits on behalf of the prime minister's clients.
Even though his candidacy was promoted as a diversion against Ilir Meta and to smooth relations with his Greek counterpart Mitsotakis; the truth is that Vangjel Tavo was catapulted by Dropulli to the head of the Himara Municipality, to continue plundering land and beaches on the coast for Edi Rama's clients and to make "a few millions" for himself.
This is evidenced by the 230 hectares of land, beaches and 45 construction permits that Vangjeli has signed during his 18 months as mayor, but also the 132 strange, obviously suspicious tenders that he has developed and is in process. The next two tenders, Vangjeli has fabricated and signed on March 31, 2026 and announced in the Public Procurement Bulletin dated April 7, with a total value of 20 million new lek with VAT.
The first tender, with Reference Number: 80470-03-31-2026 and a fund of 11.7 million lek including VAT, is for the service of organizing the opening activity of the summer season in Himara.
While the second tender, announced on the same date, with Reference No.: 80471-03-31-2026 and a fund of 8.3 million lek including VAT, aims at public support for the season opening activity.

The first tender can be considered justified, despite the inflated and abusive cost for the ribbon, the payment of the "beauty" who will hold the tray with the scissors to cut the ribbon for the opening of the season, the sound system, the banner, and a spectacle with 3 Jet-Skis at sea.
While the second tender, worth 8.3 million new lek, will be an expense for organizing applause during the ceremony for the opening of the summer season, even though this role will be played by employees of the Himara Municipality and party militants.
But Vangjeli of Himara, like his predecessor Jorgo Goro and the government officials in Tirana, is doing the same thing to steal as much as he can. /Pamphlet
