Meanwhile, the White House has called on Kosovo and Serbia to take steps to de-escalate the situation in the north of Kosovo.
The press office of the White House said the secretary for National Security had talked on Thursday with the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti and on Friday with the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, expressing the concern of the United States about the situation in the north.
