Another Iranian attack in response to an Israeli retaliation would require defense cooperation with US Central Command, more ammunition for the Israeli Air Force and potentially other types of operational support from Washington.
A US official said that in talks between the Biden administration and the Israeli government yesterday, the United States made it clear that it supported an Israeli response, but that it believed it needed to be considered.
