Two carabinieri lost their lives in a road accident that happened late in the evening in the province of Salerno.
Three cars, including the one in which the law enforcement officers were traveling, collided with each other along the road that connects the municipalities of Eboli and Campagna.
According to the data, the victims are Marshal Francesco Pastore, 25 years old, and officer Domenico Ferraro, 27 years old, both originally from Puglia, on duty at the Campagna station.
Also, 4 other people traveling in other cars were injured in the accident, including a third carabinieri.
