"My son is getting married," the trap Netanyahu set for Iran to dispel

In addition to news of the conflict, which has captured media attention not only there, but around the world, the Israeli press also reported the postponement of the wedding of Avner Netanyahu, the son of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The event's organizers confirmed that this was due to the country-wide emergency restrictions. Originally scheduled to take place on Monday, June 16, at the luxurious Ronit Farm venue in north Tel Aviv, the high-profile wedding was canceled due to ongoing security concerns and Home Front Command regulations, which prohibit all gatherings under the current state of emergency, known as Level 4.

The restrictions were imposed after an increase in missile attacks by Iran and its allies. It is reported that the wedding will be postponed indefinitely.

Some other media outlets have come up with the theory that the splendor of the preparations and the news about the outfits chosen by the thousand guests may actually have been an attempt to throw ash in the eyes of the Iranians, so that they would not understand that Israel was secretly preparing an attack on the Islamic Republic.

Meanwhile, preparations continued in Tel Aviv for the LGBTQ pride parade, which was also canceled after the Israeli offensive. Netanyahu's spokesmen stated that the prime minister would spend a quiet weekend in the north of the country with his wife, Saen, and then attend the ceremony.

The advisers had even announced that the government would meet on Thursday evening and discuss resuming negotiations for the release of the hostages still being held in Gaza by Hamas.
