Italy's Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, as well as other Western leaders, have traveled to Kiev to show solidarity on the second anniversary of the Russian invasion.
"At first we thought it was a Blitzkrieg operation and it wasn't. Then we thought that Russia would occupy half of the Ukrainian territory and it didn't happen. Then Ukraine liberated part of its territories. Be careful, let's not become victims of propaganda Russian that we know well", said Meloni.
She participated in the ceremony in honor of the defenders of the airport, in the presence of the President of Ukraine Zelensky, the President of the EU Commission, Von der Leyen and the Prime Ministers of Belgium and Canada, Alexander De Croo and Justin Trudeau.
On the second anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion, the UK has announced it will provide €287m to boost Ukraine's artillery ammunition stockpile by next year. This was announced by the Ministry of Defense in London.
