The UN has updated the numbers of survivors of the war as it states that 1.5 million Gazans have been displaced by the attacks.
More than 710,000 people are reported to be sheltering in facilities run by UNRWA, the UN's Palestinian refugee agency says.
Meanwhile, the overcrowded conditions are causing "serious health and safety risks" for those people who are displaced, as well as taking a heavy toll on their mental health. Also, the UN clarifies that damage to water and sanitation infrastructure is increasing public health risks.
Some 530,000 people are sheltering in 92 UNRWA sites in Gaza City, with shelters exceeding their capacity and unable to accommodate new arrivals. Many displaced people are sleeping on the streets near UNRWA facilities.
