Tragic earthquake in Myanmar, death toll rises to 2,719; search for bodies continues 

The death toll from the devastating earthquake in Myanmar a few days ago is rising again.

According to military chief Min Aung Hlaing, the death toll has reached 2,719. As for the injured, it is 4,521, while 441 people are still missing.

Min Aung Hlaing added that the numbers could rise and the death toll could exceed 3,000.

Meanwhile in the Thai capital, Bangkok, another body has been pulled from the rubble of a collapsed skyscraper, bringing the total number of people who have died there to 14.
