The Israeli military has given an update on its military operations, a week after Israel and the United States launched joint strikes against targets in Iran.
Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokeswoman Effie Defrin stated that since the start of the operation, the Israeli military has carried out around 3,400 airstrikes on targets in Iranian territory .
According to him, during these operations, over 150 Iranian air defense systems have been disabled , while Israeli forces have used around 7,500 rounds of ammunition in the attacks undertaken so far .
"We have moved to the next phase of the operation, expanding attacks on the regime's main production sites," Defrin said.
The IDF spokesman also added that Israeli operations are not limited to Iran. According to him, the army continues to carry out attacks in Lebanon, especially in the Dahieh suburb of Beirut, where structures linked to Hezbollah have been targeted.
"We continue to pursue Hezbollah terrorists and destroy the headquarters they have set up in this area," Defrin said.
