Iran will reopen the Strait of Hormuz after the end of the war with the United States and Israel, Abdul Majid Hakim Elahi, the envoy of the Supreme Leader, declared in an interview with TASS.

According to him, Tehran currently maintains strong control over this strategic waterway because the conflict has not yet ended.

"While the war continues, Iran completely controls it, but I am sure that after it ends it will open up and countries will benefit from it, " he said.

Elahi stressed that Iran does not intend to create an international crisis through the Strait of Hormuz and that it aims for good relations and cooperation with other countries.

According to his statements, Iranian authorities decided to restrict the passage of ships linked to the US, Israel and countries that supported actions against the Islamic Republic. During the conflict, several tankers were attacked after passing through the strait without Iran's approval.

The Strait of Hormuz remains one of the most important hubs of global energy transport, and any restrictions on movement in this area have a direct impact on international markets.
