The floods that engulfed Greece after it was hit by the "Daniel" phenomenon may be followed by the outbreak of a dangerous virus.
Greek media write that the development of infectious diseases in Thessaly includes the West Nile virus. According to data from the Athens Observatory, mosquitoes grow significantly due to the large volume of stagnant water.
The high risk assessment concerns the large urban centers of Thessaly such as Larissa, the areas near Volos and the cities, Elassona, Tyrnavos.
We recall that as a result of the storm "Daniel", 15 people died in Greece and thousands of houses and residential areas were destroyed as a result of floods that covered large areas of land.
