Iraq has closed its airspace, the country's transport ministry announced. "All air traffic has been temporarily stopped," the announcement states.
This measure was taken after the announcement that Iran has launched an air attack on Israel.
Meanwhile, the first images of drones flying over Iraq have emerged. They are expected to enter Israeli space after 8 hours.
Arab media reports that a few days ago hundreds of kamikaze drones were launched from Iran towards Israel.
According to some unconfirmed reports, 50 to 100 suicide drones have been launched from Iran. The same reports estimate that they will arrive in Israel in the early hours of the morning 7.30 (6.30 our time).
