A person in the US has set himself on fire in front of the Israeli embassy in Washington DC, in protest of the ongoing war in Gaza.
According to what "Sky News" reports, the still unidentified man was rushed to the hospital and is in critical condition.
It is known that the incident happened at around 13:00 at the premises, where after receiving the notification, the fire brigade responded immediately and extinguished the fire that had engulfed the protester's body.
Officials also asked the Metropolitan Police Department to detonate with explosives a suspicious car that could be connected to the individual.
We recall that since October 7, when the terrorist attack by Hamas in Israel took place, more than 29,600 Palestinians, mostly women and children, have died in the war, according to official figures reported by the Ministry of Health in Gaza.
