Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has made strong statements after meeting with Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer in Ankara, attacking the US for the situation in Israel.
He criticized America for sending aircraft carriers near Israel! According to him, the US is turning the Middle East into a bloodshed.
" The US is sending its aircraft carrier to Israel. What work is there? What will he do? With the arrival of the aircraft carrier, heavy carnage will begin to hit Gaza. I have to say this: the US has more than 20 bases in Syria. What business does an American base have in Syria? Shouldn't all of this be appreciated? The US develops and trains all terrorist organizations. Or in Syria, or in this region, or in the Middle East. They are turning the Middle East into a place of bloodshed" , said the Turkish president, among other things.
Erdogan, regarding Turkey's membership in the European Union, stated that: 'The integration of Europe will only take place with Turkey's full membership in the European Union. I have emphasized that we will not accept any alternative other than full integration'.
