Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov faced several interruptions while speaking at the OSCE summit in Skopje, North Macedonia.
“Can you leave me alone? Please! Thank you!” Lavrov said in English and then continued his speech in Russian.
It remains unclear who was addressed in this way, but the Ukrainian delegation was said to have left the hall by the time Lavrov began his speech.

Lavrov arrived in Skopje to participate in meetings organized by the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe. Diplomats from several OSCE member states, including Ukraine, boycotted the event because of Lavrov's planned attendance amid Russia's war in Ukraine.
The Russian Foreign Minister spoke for 15 minutes before leaving the meetings. Almost all Western diplomats who spoke on the first day of the summit, which began on Friday and will end today, condemned Russia for its unprovoked invasion of Ukraine last year and its ambitions of de-staling and the extent of influence in the Western Balkans region and beyond.
