The United States has notified Israel that it has 30 days to resolve the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. According to the US, if Netanyahu does not respect the deadline, he will face the consequences provided by American legislation.

In more detail, based on Israeli media reporting a few days ago, during a telephone conversation that Yoav Galand had with his American counterpart, Lloyd Austin, the US Secretary of Defense informed Galand that there is now pressure within the White House strongly about how Israel is managing the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
In particular, Lloyd Austin pointed out to Galland that Vice President Kamala Harris' camp in particular is pushing for immediate sanctions against Israel regarding this specific issue.
"Lloyd Austin asked Galland to communicate the matter directly to Benjamin Netanyahu and take all necessary steps to allow US humanitarian aid to pass unimpeded into the Palestinian enclave," writes the Jerusalem Post.
Hours after the call, it appears the US followed up with an official announcement to Israel by sending a letter about its intentions and Israel's Minister of Strategic Planning, Ron Dermer, giving a clear time frame to promote the matter. .
Israeli media reports that the letter has a one-month deadline for Israel's immediate mobilization and also has a separate paragraph in case these steps are not taken. This paragraph states that the US, according to the legal framework, will impose sanctions on Tel Aviv. The most important of the specific sanctions is a freeze on arms shipments to Israel.
An arms embargo on Israel was called for by Emmanuel Macron for the same reason a week ago, creating a rift with Israel.
