United States Vice President JD Vance said talks with Iran in Geneva had gone well, as both sides agreed to continue diplomatic efforts to resolve the crisis.
In an interview with Fox News, Vance stressed, however, that the US president has set several "red lines" that, according to him, the Iranian side is not yet ready to accept and address.
" The president of the United States is trying very hard to find a solution, whether through diplomacy or through another option. That means the Iranians cannot have nuclear weapons ," Vance said in an interview with journalist Martha MacCallum.
His statements come at a time when Washington and Tehran are seeking to find a way out of tensions over Iran's nuclear program.
