A fishmonger from Naples, Italy, has received a lot of attention on social networks, especially on TikTok, for his remarkable resemblance to Zelensky.
Gigi Pescheria, born Luigi Pisacane, has more than 1.2 million followers on TikTok and another 104,000 on Instagram.
Over time, he has become known for his catchphrase 'Buongiorno pescheria' and humorous videos from his everyday life and work. But it wasn't long before people started pointing out the resemblance, saying Gigi is Zelensky's sidekick.
"Good morning Mr. President", commenters write under his posts.
Another comment said: 'Volodymyr, you speak Italian very well!'
Although Gigi doesn't wear Zelensky's colors of an olive green T-shirt with Ukrainian symbols on the chest, but wears trousers and work boots, the resemblance cannot be denied.
Some people pointed out that he resembles the Ukrainian leader not only in his appearance, but also in his facial expressions and gestures.
His TikTok videos were even featured on Ukrainian news channels, and Gigi has since released a video welcoming claims as Volodymyr Zelensky's societ.
