Other details have been published by Greek media about the crime that occurred in one of the quiet neighborhoods of Athens, where a man around 40 years old, still unidentified by the authorities, was executed with 5 bullets.
The killer had his facial features covered and left the scene on foot, although it is suspected that a few meters away he used a motorcycle to escape.
The victim was shot at least five times, three in the neck and one in the chest, wounds that caused his instant death.
"We heard the shots, we saw the perpetrator running away," says a resident of the area, according to Greek media.
Another resident revealed that she saw the perpetrator leave the scene immediately after the execution. "We went outside to see what had happened, we realized that there were gunshots. There were at least five or six, the first one was an 'explosion' and the others followed one after the other. We were trying to figure out where the gunshots were coming from.
A girl told me that 'it happened down here, at the pharmacy,'" says the resident.
Another resident says that the perpetrator was a very tall man, dressed in black, tight clothes, and with his head covered.
Another witness stated, "I was 300 meters from the scene. We heard about five gunshots, at first I thought it was a discharge from a motorcycle. At first we didn't pay attention, but when we went to look, we saw a man covered in black from top to bottom running towards Giavasi. I didn't see the dead man, only the perpetrator."
