
Police have identified the first four bodies of people who died in a bar collapse near a ski resort in Switzerland on New Year's Eve.
According to police, the bodies of two Swiss girls, aged 21 and 16, and two Swiss boys, aged 18 and 16, have been returned to their families.
The Institute of Forensic Medicine made it possible to identify the victims, the Valais cantonal police announced in a statement to the media.
Meanwhile, work is still ongoing to identify the other victims.
The fire at Le Constellation in Crans-Montana killed 47 people and injured 119 others, officials said.
Many of the injured have been identified, while families are facing a wait for information about those still considered missing.
