Meloni closes the doors to Albanians, Rama opens the gates to Gjadri. Because for him, power is an end in itself...
Giorgia Meloni, tough and direct, has just called on her supporters to boycott the referendum that calls for faster citizenship for non-European immigrants, a decision that speaks clearly: We don't want you as citizens, we just want you as labor and deportation statistics.
Who are these immigrants? Among the first, the Albanians. Those who built homes and a dignified life there, artists, entrepreneurs, technologists, doctors, people who serve and survive every day with the fear of a residence permit.
So what does the "prime minister of Albanians everywhere" do?
Nothing!
Silence in a low voice.
This is Edi Rama, the "brother" of "Sister Giorgia," as he calls her with the zeal of a obedient servant. And while she closes the door to Albanians in Italy, Rama opens the doors to Gjadri to turn him into the guardian of the refugee camp that Europe does not want.
For foreigners, it builds prisons.
For Albanians who have lived in Italy for decades, not even a statement.
Because with Meloni, Rama makes agreements, not moral ones. And for the sake of these agreements, he never mentions the institutional violence that is done to Albanians in the name of "protecting Italian identity". It does not even occur to him to publicly ask for support for his own citizens, for Albanians who work, pay taxes and vote in Italian municipalities.
So why is the Prime Minister silent?
Because he has no citizens, he has projects. He has no people, he has plans. He has no nation, he has contracts. And Meloni is a much more important political contract for him than tens of thousands of compatriots who call him "Albanian di m..." on the streets of Turin, Milan or Bari.
Rama is ready to build fences for foreigners in the name of the EU, but he is never ready to protect his compatriots.
His hypocrisy is as great as his ego. And the more he bows down to Meloni, the more the dignity of Albanians in Italy bows down.
And for Meloni, Rama is neither a brother, nor a friend, nor a partner. He is simply the administrator of the next camp, who does not create problems./ Pamphlet
