The justice gang that defends its member, Irena Gjoka
Irena Gjoka

This is not justice. This is capture. This is the arrogance of power. This is a caste that behaves as if it is untouchable, that judges citizens harshly, but protects itself with silence and bargaining.

The case of Irena Gjoka is not an exception, but a true reflection of a system rotten from within. In the Albanian justice system we no longer have institutions that serve the citizens, but a group of people with power, who behave like an organized gang and who have usurped the system for personal interests. They make decisions in the name of the Republic, but act against the citizens and against the law itself.

Judges and prosecutors who should have been guarantors of justice have today become each other's shields. When they commit crimes, they cover them up. When they are caught, they relativize them. When they are publicly exposed, they remain silent. No one is held accountable, because the system is built not to punish itself.

Precisely for this reason, Irena Gjoka will be protected by justice. Not because she is innocent, but because she is part of the same circle. One hand washes the other and both wash the face of a system that has lost all sense of shame. They are not afraid of the law, because they control it. They are not afraid of the truth, because they stifle it. They are only afraid of public exposure.

This is not justice. This is capture. This is the arrogance of power. This is a caste that behaves as if it is untouchable, that judges citizens harshly, but protects itself with silence and bargaining. And every time a case like this is closed without punishment, the message is clear: justice does not exist for them, but only for those who do not have power.

If this society accepts that this case will also be covered up, then the problem is not just Irena Gjoka. The problem is a system that has decided to survive by lying, protecting itself, and mocking Albanian citizens.

There is no doubt that there are still positive and professional elements with integrity in the system, but today it is a rare fortune to face them. The responsibility for this situation is shameful, because an honest minority has been overshadowed by a majority that has chosen silence, conformity and the protection of lawlessness. When justice depends on fate and not on the law, the system has failed.

Avokat!
