Albanian public opinion is waiting to hear what will happen and how the trial on criminal charges for corruption, which Sali Berisha is currently facing at SPAK, will proceed.
Why do you toil in vain, you wretched ones!
You have at the head of your political flow MP Sali Berisha, an individual who no longer has any connection to Albania.
Have you thought about it and understood why Sali Berisha is 'non grata' to enter the United States of America and Great Britain?
He is accused of corruption. And this is from the State Department of the United States of America.
But, we Albanians know well that both Albanian states, Albania and Kosovo, are under the threat of Russia-Serbia.
And also, how can a person who is inadmissible to enter the United States of America and Great Britain compete in politics in Albania?
It is naivety and political incomprehension of the Democratic Party, because Albania has no strength and historical perspective if it is not part of NATO and the European Union.
Then it should be emphasized that everything depends on the very friendly relationship between Albania and the United States of America.
Meanwhile, the chairman of the Democratic Party is undesirable for Washington and London.
But we must emphasize that...
Berisha can't do anything for Albania, because he is 'non grata' in the West.
But of course, being the head of the Democratic Party, this party is also, ipso jure, unacceptable to Washington.
Therefore...
A solution must be found, because this situation has left Albania with only one party, the Socialist Party. And public opinion in Albania is very concerned, because democracy in Albania has been left with only one left-wing and one right-wing political party, without political strength.
Here, this is the situation.
Meanwhile, Berisha doesn't even bother and talks nonsense every day, at a time when he can no longer do anything in politics, and this was clearly shown by the very low result that the Democratic Party received in the elections of May 11 of this year.
Time passes and Albania is strengthening its ties with Washington and Brussels.
What about the Democratic Party?
Nothing is on the line. And for what we expressed above, it is understood that that party itself cannot do anything regarding its political perspective, because its leader is 'non grata' in the United States of America and Great Britain.
But in the meantime...
Albanian public opinion is waiting to hear what will happen and how the trial on criminal charges for corruption, which Sali Berisha is currently facing at SPAK, will proceed.
All of this has brought Albanian public opinion into a turbulent situation, and it is waiting with the question:
What will happen in Albanian politics in May and June of this year?
