A tragic accident claimed the lives of 3 young people this morning on the Gjirokastër-Tepelena road.
The person in the photo is 27-year-old Anxhelo Ruçi, who lost his life in the accident. The 27-year-old was the son of the police chief, Rami Ruçi, and the nephew of the former speaker of the Albanian Parliament, Gramoz Ruçi.
The three young people lost their lives after the Volkswagen vehicle in which Klejdi Myftari, 24, and Anxhelo Ruci, 27, were traveling, collided with another Mercedes Benz vehicle in which Martin Dulaj, 25, who died at the scene, and Arsida Demiri, 19, were traveling.
The latter was transported to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana for more specialized assistance.
