Journalist Klodiana Lala, showing details about the assassination of the previous day against ex-prison officer Gentjan Bejtja, said that he was well-intentioned. The journalist has shown details of the dynamics of the event, revealing a detail that is still being investigated by the police.
The journalist said that before the assassination, the area where Bejtja was standing had no lights, and this also affected the malfunctioning of the security cameras.
"The car used for the assassination, Landrover, has stolen license plates. Two masked and armed people got out of the car. Gentjan Bejtja saw them and understood, so he started running. They followed him from behind and shot him, leaving him dead. Both perpetrators got back into the car and left. Of the 4 people who participated in the assassination, only two of them shot," the journalist said.
Meanwhile, Lala revealed another detail, which he said is being investigated, the fact that the neighborhood where the assassination took place had no lights.
"What has not been said so far, and is still being investigated, is that in a large part of the area of the neighborhood where Gentjan Bejtja was located, there were no lights before the assassination took place. Security cameras have not been operational because they take time to reset after the lights go out. Therefore, many fragments from the event are not recorded", said Lala.
At the same time, she said that it is suspected that Bejtja was 'betrayed' by someone, as he had been wanted for a long time and could not be caught.
