Footage of the fatal accident in the early hours of this morning on the Fier - Vlora axis, where Albi Hoxha, 24, lost his life, has been published.
From the data collected at the scene and the inspection of the perimeter of the area where the accident occurred, investigators have reached the preliminary conclusion that the vehicle was moving at a very high speed.
According to the analysis of the point of impact and the place where the vehicle ended up, it is suspected that the speed reached around 220 kilometers per hour, which is considered an extreme excess of the permitted norms.
The incident was recorded at around 03:00 in the area known as the Novosela overpass, on the road axis towards the village of Akërni.
The young man was driving a vehicle with license plate AB009GN and crashed into the side barriers of the road. He was found lifeless 30 meters away from the point of impact.
