A pitbull has attacked a minor girl, causing serious injuries. The incident took place in Vlora, while the 4-year-old minor, according to reports, has ended up in hospital where she is undergoing surgery.
The minor was with her grandparents when she was attacked by a pitbull, and it is learned that she suffered head injuries.
The incident could have been fatal if a person had not intervened to remove the animal, while the girl was urgently transported to the regional hospital.
"The girl was with her grandfather and grandmother. The dog came and bit her on the head. I caught the dog and tied it with a chain. The child was 4 years old," Sejko Veliu tells Report TV.
Reports indicate that the minor was rushed to the operating room.
