Even though 2 days have passed since the brutal murder in Fushë-Kruje where a Kalashnikov was fired in the courtyard of his apartment Gentjan Bejtja, the Tirana Police still have no name or suspected perpetrator of the crime.
The victim, Gentjan Bejtja, even though he was wanted by the police for several months, where he was wanted for questioning in connection with the last assassination attempt against him, where his brother-in-law was killed, the police had not managed to locate him.
But on the other hand, the murderers who were suspected to be paid managed to find him right in front of the police and at the moment Bejtja left the apartment towards the greenhouse in the yard of his villa in Larushk of Fushë-Kruja, they entered and brutally executed the 43-year-old.
In relation to the event, the Tirana police have started the analysis where they have focused on the examination of the security cameras of the area as well as on the testimonies of the accompanied persons.
It is known that the former policeman was shot from close range with 30 Kalashnikov bullets, most of which hit him in the body and face, causing his immediate death.
It is suspected that 3 of them, masked and dressed in black, shot at the ex-policeman with Kalashnikov rifles.
The killers left the scene in an off-road car, which they then burned in the village of Hasanaj.
The vehicle and license plates were stolen in Shkodër last year. The 4 Kalashnikovs used to eliminate Bejtjan were also found in the burned car.
The police have accompanied and interrogated persons who are suspected of having knowledge of the incident. Among them is Valter Bami, who was arrested as a suspect in the assassination of Gentjan Bejtja on July 4 last year, but was placed under house arrest as no evidence was found directly linking him to the crime. The former policeman's brother-in-law, Ramazan Sina, was the victim of this attack and his two minor children were injured.
