Another armored vehicle was stopped in Shkodër, as the driver was driving without authorization issued by the competent body.
According to the police, the driver of the Audi type vehicle is Leonard Gjeka.
Gjeka is known for his escape from Melbourne prison in Australia a few years ago.
"The services of the General Patrol, during the implementation of the plan of measures for the prevention of criminality and for the attack of illegalities, in the city of Shkodra, have ascertained and escorted to the premises of DVP Shkodra, an armored vehicle.
After the verifications, it turned out that the driver of the vehicle, citizen Leonard Gjeka, resident in the village of Ishull, Shëngjin, Lezhë, was driving without a license issued by the competent body.
An administrative measure was imposed on the driver of the vehicle, in accordance with the Highway Code. Also, a supplementary measure was implemented to block the "Audi" type vehicle and confiscation procedures will begin," the police announced.
We remind you that earlier another armored vehicle was stopped by the police of Shkodra, which belonged to Safet Bajri.
