A knife injury was recorded in the "Barrikadë" neighborhood in the city of Berat, where a 48-year-old man was injured after a conflict over weak motives.
The police inform that, immediately after the notification, the services of the Berat Police Station went to the scene and began investigations to solve the case.
As a result of the rapid intervention, it was possible to identify and arrest the suspected perpetrator, citizen AT, 39 years old, resident of Berat.
Preliminary investigations suspect that he attacked citizen DN, 48 years old, with a cutting tool (knife) during a momentary conflict.
The injured person is out of danger, while the investigation team is continuing its work to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.
The procedural materials have been forwarded to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Berat for further action.
