RENEA divers continue their search for 30-year-old Jurgen Karaj, who is suspected of being swept away by the current of the Dars stream after the accident in Klos.
Authorities say the operation will continue in the coming days, while the 30-year-old's family remains waiting and hoping to find him, in a situation that is becoming increasingly difficult as the days go by without results.
The accident occurred on January 10 of this year. The 30-year-old was a passenger in the BMW of 24-year-old Andi Losha, 24, who was able to get out of the car and survive. After this incident, the 24-year-old was arrested by the police and, in addition to leaving his friend behind, the young man was also found to be driving while intoxicated.

Since January 10, 2026, RENEA divers have been continuing their search for citizen JK, 30 years old, who is suspected of being taken from the stream of the Dars village, then carried to the Mat River.
The search operation involves RENEA divers, the National Security Force, the "Eagle" Special Force, the Dibër Local Police Directorate, the services of the Mat Police Commissariat, the Fire Protection and Rescue Service, representatives of the Armed Forces, as well as volunteer and family forces, who continue to comb the riverbed from both sides.
To this day, it has not been possible to find the 30-year-old.
