The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEFJ) of Albania has successfully managed to repatriate a young Albanian man, who was in danger in Sierra Leone.
The request for assistance came from the 19-year-old's mother a few days ago. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through diplomatic channels and with coordinated support from local authorities and international partners, enabled the safe return of the young man to his family.
"MEPJ ensures the repatriation of the young Albanian from danger in Sierra Leone. A story of hope and joint commitment! After several days of intensive efforts, the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEPJ) of Albania has managed to successfully repatriate a young Albanian, who was in danger in Sierra Leone.
The request for assistance came from the mother of the 19-year-old, FT, a few days ago, and the MEPJ immediately took the situation under consideration. Through diplomatic channels and with coordinated support from local authorities and international partners, a rapid and effective response was enabled.
With the efforts of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, in close cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, the operation was successfully concluded within a short period, enabling the young man to return safe and healthy to his family.
"The MEPJ expresses its most sincere thanks to all the authorities that participated in this operation and assures that it will continue to provide tireless support to Albanian citizens, wherever they are ," the MEPJ announced.
