A 25-year-old man was captured by the Police in Mirdita, as part of the "Rule of Law" mega-operation. It is learned that a pair of stolen license plates were found in the young man's car, which he is suspected to use or sell for criminal purposes.
The license plates found on the 25-year-old's vehicle were reported stolen a few days ago by a citizen from Mirdita. After the search, the 25-year-old man was arrested, and his 'Golf' type vehicle was seized.

The 25-year-old was arrested in the act, with license plates stolen the day before in Mirdita, which were suspected to be used for criminal purposes, found in his vehicle. The license plates and the vehicle driven by the arrested person are seized.
As a result of the work of the police intelligence, controls and investigations that are being carried out with intensity by the Police of the Lezhë district, within the framework of the "Rule of Law" mega-operation, with the aim of preventing criminal events and elucidating those that happened before, the specialists of the Section for the Investigation of Crimes of the Mirdi Police Station, they have hit a case of theft of vehicle license plates, to use them for criminal purposes. A 25-year-old citizen living in Tirana was caught in the act and put in handcuffs.
The Mirdita Police Services, in cooperation with the Kukës Police, have stopped the "Golf" type vehicle driven by this citizen on the "Krumë-Kukës" road axis. From the controls inside the vehicle, a pair of vehicle license plates were found, which were reported stolen the day before, by a citizen living in Mirdita, which were suspected to be used for criminal purposes.
The license plates were confiscated by the Police, along with the "Golf" type vehicle. The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Lezhë, for further actions.
