The court of Shkodra has sentenced to 12 years and 8 months in prison Maltin alias Anton Gjinin accused of murdering Pjetër Kola. The event took place on September 27, 2022 in Puka.
The investigations carried out by the prosecutor's office have shown that Kola's murder happened because of a dispute between him and the author.
Regarding this conflict, the investigators say that it happened due to the disruption of drug deals after the perpetrator and the victim had set up a warehouse for the processing of narcotics in the area of Puka.
Initially, there was a conflict between them, and while the meeting in the premises of the joint warehouse proved fatal for the life of Pjetër Kola, he was shot in the stomach and unfortunately lost his life.
The state police, during the investigation and observation of the scene, found that the drug was being dried in the former warehouses of the state reserves, for which sativa cannabis was used as a processing facility.
It is learned that after the evidence administered by the police, the Author Maltin Gjini and the Victim Pjetër Kola had managed to hire several women and girls, mainly in Cërrik, with the aim of cutting cannabis plants.
Their daily salary was 25-30 thousand ALL. During their interrogation, they stated that the perpetrator and the victim were the two people who talked about this illegal activity, for which they were initially told that they would deal with sage.
