The lawyer of Fatmir Tarellar, the 50-year-old Albanian, who executed his brother-in-law Erjon Pelivani with a firearm, after learning that the latter had raped his daughter, has stated that his client has regretted his action.
According to the girl, who is now 18 years old, the 33-year-old man raped her since she was 9 years old, while recently he reached the point of blackmailing her that if she did not give him money, he would publish videos and photos of the rapes. .
In the statement given this Wednesday, the lawyer said that Tarellari committed the serious crime under difficult psychological conditions, after learning that his brother-in-law raped his daughter.
"We were given a deadline of five days to prepare the defendant's statement. The charges brought against my client are "Manslaughter in a calm state of mind", "Possessing a weapon without a permit" and Use of a weapon. I neither confirm nor deny that the gun was fired during the fight. My client was in a bad state of mind after being informed of some incidents involving his daughter which I do not want to mention as it is sensitive personal information. He was shocked by what he learned, as he had complete faith in the victim. He had strong feelings of sadness, anger and worry, which led to what happened. Now he has realized that a man who, regardless of whether he was charged with criminal offenses, lost his life and that he should have handled this case differently, if his mental state allowed it ," the lawyer declared.
The 50-year-old's family consists of three daughters from his previous marriage and a 9-year-old son from his second marriage. The victim turns out to be the brother of his second wife.
