Two premises that were adapted for organizing games of chance were discovered by the police in Tirana, as part of the "Gambling Fate" operation.
In one of the discovered premises, on "Sitki Çiço" street, the administrator of the premises, citizen EH, 39 years old, was arrested. During the search of the premises, two poker tables were found, which were seized as material evidence.
Meanwhile, criminal proceedings have been launched against the 55-year-old administrator of another bar that was discovered. According to the data, during the search on his phone, applications used for sports betting were found.
The operation continues, while the procedural materials have been referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action.

Two bars where gambling was being organized were discovered. The administrator of one bar was arrested, and the administrator of the other bar was criminally prosecuted.
Poker tables and electronic equipment used for this activity were seized.
The Crime Investigation Specialists of Police Stations No. 4 and No. 3, following inspections in premises and other entities, with the aim of identifying and cracking down on cases of their adaptation for the illegal organization of games of chance, discovered 2 premises where games of chance were organized.
For these cases:
- citizen EH, 39 years old, was arrested, after during the search of the bar he managed, on "Sitki Çiço" street, it was found that he had adapted the environment for organizing gambling. As material evidence, 2 poker tables that were found in the bar were seized;
- citizen EC, 55 years old, was criminally prosecuted, after in the bar he managed, during the examination of his mobile phone, sports betting applications were found.
"Controls against this activity continue. The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action," the police announced.
