Tirana police have discovered a house used for the preparation of narcotics in Yzberisht. The owner of the house, Shkëlqim Krrashi, 61, has been arrested.
The apartment was adapted for the preparation of drugs in various shapes and forms, for the purpose of sale.
During the searches in the apartment, approximately 17 kg of cannabis (chocolate) and 22.5 liters of cannabis oil were found, both with a total value of approximately 500 thousand euros, a quantity of cocaine, 1 firearm, a pistol, and 1 shotgun.

Seized from the apartment were approximately 17 kilograms of suspected narcotics, Cannabis (chocolate) and 22.5 liters of Cannabis oil, both with a total value of approximately 500,000 euros, a quantity of Cocaine, 1 firearm, a pistol, and 1 shotgun.
The owner of the apartment is arrested in flagrante delicto.
The Narcotics Investigation Section, as a result of investigations conducted with proactive methods, for several months, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Tirana, finalized the police operation codenamed "Shape", as a result of which the citizen Sh. K., 61 years old, resident of Yzberisht, was arrested in flagrante delicto.
During the operation, the Police services conducted a search of the 61-year-old's apartment, where they found and seized about 17 kilograms of suspected narcotics Cannabis (chocolate), divided into 69 packages, 22.5 liters of Cannabis oil (both amounts worth about 500,000 euros), about 65 grams of suspected narcotics Cocaine, 1 firearm, a pistol, and 1 shotgun.
Investigations suspect that this citizen was obtaining large quantities of Cannabis and Cocaine, preparing them in various forms and shapes, and selling them in Yzberisht.
Investigations are ongoing to fully document this criminal activity, as well as to identify and apprehend other citizens who may be involved.
"The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action ," the police announced.
